The government has resumed the allocation of 980 regular quotas for private vehicles traveling between Macau and Hong Kong, effective today. This phase includes 810 quotas for private entities and 170 for commercial use, following a lottery-based sorting system established earlier this year.
Eligible applicants can apply online from Oct. 16 to Jan. 24 next year. The Traffic Affairs Bureau (DSAT) emphasizes the importance of timely submissions to avoid waiving quotas. All relevant details are available on the DSAT website, where applicants will receive notifications via SMS about their application status.
