Worker arrested for using lost Macau Pass card

A foreign domestic worker from Indonesia has been arrested for allegedly using a lost Macau Pass card to make unauthorized purchases totaling MOP529.2, police said. The suspect, a woman in her 40s who works in the food and beverage sector, was detained in Coloane earlier this week. She has been charged with misappropriation of lost property, and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecutions Office. Police said the case was reported on Feb. 25 by a local man who discovered three suspicious transactions through a mobile app after misplacing his card.
