The 2026 Wynn Signature Chinese Wine Awards judging week will return to Wynn Palace from March 6 to 10, gathering 23 leading international wine experts to evaluate China’s top-tier wines through blind tastings based on the globally recognized 100-point scoring system.
The competition, now in its third year, reflects the theme “International Standards, Chinese Ingenuity” and aims to promote high-quality Chinese wines to global markets. This year, nearly 180 wineries submitted more than 800 wine varieties, showcasing the growing strength of China’s wine industry.
The awards will recognize 39 categories, including the flagship “Wynn Signature Best Wine of China Trophy.” The program also expands the “Wynn Sommelier’s Choice” awards to include Italian cuisine under the “Fontana Sommelier’s Choice” category, broadening wine pairing opportunities across different culinary traditions.
Wynn said the initiative supports international recognition of Chinese wines while strengthening Macau’s role as a regional hub for gastronomy and lifestyle tourism. Winners will be announced at the award ceremony on April 24.
