30 local productions shortlisted for IC documentary and animation program

A total of 30 documentaries, short films and animations have been shortlisted for the second phase of the Cultural Affairs Bureau’s (IC) “Local View Power” program. The open call received 74 applications, with shortlisted candidates selected after evaluation by a jury. The selected applicants must attend an IC-organized workshop and submit detailed production and budget plans by Aug. 31. Candidates will meet with the jury in September, which will select projects for the next phase based on criteria including creativity, originality, thematic expression and production feasibility.
