38 outdoor café permits approved since last August

Applications for outdoor café seating have been accepted since last August, with the Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) reporting on Wednesday that 38 permits have been approved to date. Authorities pledged to continue effectively regulating outdoor seating areas while balancing industry needs with the protection of residents’ quality of life. The bureau acknowledged the need to compile a relevant list and said it will upload the data to its website for public access in the future.
