Aero K plans Macau–Cheongju route as airport expands network

South Korean airline Aero K has applied for flight slots at Macau International Airport and plans to launch a Macau–Cheongju route in December, the airport operator said. The move comes as Macau continues to expand its aviation network, with Air Macau having resumed its Macau–Fukuoka service on July 1. The airport currently operates three direct Japan routes to Tokyo, Osaka and Fukuoka. Authorities said they will continue strengthening regional connections and expanding international passenger markets as air travel demand recovers.
