Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau has introduced “Little Chin,” a new character inspired by 19th-century English painter George Chinnery, as part of its effort to strengthen its cultural and family-focused offerings.
The hotel said the initiative pays tribute to Chinnery, who once lived in Macau and documented the city through his artwork.
Little Chin is designed as a playful reinterpretation of the artist, accompanied by a companion character, Gatchai the dog, and is intended to encourage guests to explore Macau through art, history, and discovery.
The concept launches alongside a themed collection that includes a plush toy, children’s travel amenities kit, and a self-guided “City Walk Map” featuring two routes: a heritage art walk tracing Chinnery’s legacy, and a family-friendly exploration route around nearby attractions.
The hotel said the project reflects Macau’s East-meets-West cultural identity and aligns with its positioning as an urban resort focused on experiential hospitality.
The initiative is also linked to the property’s broader emphasis on emotional engagement and sustainable hospitality practices.
