This Chinese New Year, Barra district is reimagined as a festive playground where heritage, style and everyday joy meet in easy harmony, with a promise of unlimited happiness.
Barra Lucky Blessing Market, presented by MGM in collaboration with Offsie Concept, blends old fashion with contemporary flair. Handwritten fai chun, vintage-style carnival booth games, Chinese New Year handcrafted items and traditional lion dances sit comfortably alongside the latest trends, a pop-up chic café and more. Old fashion is no longer nostalgic, but the new fashion!
There’s something for everyone. Adults can explore over 80 trendy lifestyle and creative brands from Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and the Greater Bay Area, which offer everything from well-crafted design products to fashion, lucky plants to fragrances. Children can also soak in the lively atmosphere, with highlights such as interactive installations, a wishing tree and hands-on workshops adding playful energy to the celebration.
During the two-week market, BERTILO Drifts in Barra, a fun artwork co-created by Italian artist Bertil Butturini and Chinese illustrator Jingo Li, makes a comeback to Macau, lounging serenely on the water alongside a plump golden ingot, bringing lucky vibes to the whole district.
The market invites all visitors to wander, reconnect and have a blast. It will run from Chinese New Year’s Eve on February 13 to 26, 2026.
