MGM held its annual Lion Dance Blessing Ceremonies on the fifth day of the Chinese New Year at both MGM Cotai and MGM Macau, aiming to celebrate the festive season with cultural activities.
The ceremony featured the traditional lion-awakening ritual, with eight lions taking part in the performance, accompanied by gongs, drums, and firecrackers as the lions moved through both properties to deliver New Year blessings to guests.
Throughout the holiday period, MGM organized a series of festive installations and cultural programmes.
From February 17 to 22, the “God of Fortune Comes to You” event featured appearances by the God of Fortune, Golden Boy, and Jade Girl characters at MGM’s properties to interact with guests.
The resort also introduced a stamping activity allowing visitors to explore selected art displays and collect artwork stamps for small souvenir rewards. Chinese New Year merchandise and gift sets were also available at designated retail areas during the holiday period.
