The Macao Grand Prix Museum (GP Museum) is rolling out a series of festive activities titled “Full Horsepower Fortune Boost.”
The activities will run from February 17 to 23 (the first to seventh days of the Lunar New Year).
Among the activities is a DIY motorsport-themed spring couplets and red packets event, held in the basement of the GP Museum. It features two interactive festive booths where museumgoers can use rubbing tools and roller stamps to apply blessings and motorsport-themed patterns to spring couplets and red packets to take home as New Year souvenirs.
During the festive season, the museum will remain open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, including Tuesday, February 17, as a special arrangement.
Visitors can also enjoy two recently added themed exhibitions: “Macao Grand Prix Museum X The Pirelli Legend” (until March 2) and “A Racing Legacy – SJM Theodore Racing Interactive Exhibition” (until February 23).
Additionally, the gift shop is offering a special sale for the Chinese New Year and the Lantern Festival, running through March 31.
Meanwhile, the Museum Café will continue to serve visitors, offering a range of food, beverages, and souvenirs in a motorsports-themed setting. The café is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
The Macao Government Tourism Office said the museum, dedicated to promoting and preserving Macau’s motorsport culture, will continue to be upgraded with new multimedia and interactive features, racing scenario displays, motorsport exhibits, and barrier-free facilities.
