Corner of Casa de Portugal edifice damaged

The exterior corner of the building now housing Casa de Portugal, which is adjacent to a busy road, has been damaged. The building was certified as having architectural artistic value by the Cultural Affairs Bureau, with nearly a century of history. The damage was found near the ground on the corner, with an obvious loss of building materials. The dent is about 0.5 meter tall and 0.3 meter wide. The building has a Portuguese eclecticist style and incorporated elements of rural mansions into an urban architectural mode. It is representative of Neo-classicism architecture in Macau.
