Wynn Macau Limited announced on Friday that a special bonus equivalent to one month’s gross salary will be paid to all eligible Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace team members, excluding senior management. The team members who are qualified to receive the bonus account represent more than 96 percent of the current workforce of 12,600 employees. According to a press release from Wynn, the special bonus is being awarded to show the company’s appreciation to all team members for their hard work and dedication. Wynn announced a general salary increase earlier this March where employees received an increase of 2.5 percent to 6.5 percent.

Taxi driver prosecuted for not reporting loss

A 51-year-old local taxi driver has been prosecuted after he kept belongings which had been lost in his taxi by one of his passengers. The case took place in June. A MSAR resident reported that he had forgotten his luggage in the taxi of the said driver. The report reveals that a total loss of MOP95,000 was involved, which also included jade pieces. The police, by the end of last month, found the driver. The driver eventually confessed to the crime.
