The Buzz | Chilly week ahead as temperatures drop to 9 degrees Celsius

The Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) expects this week’s temperatures to drop to as low as 9 degrees Celsius, rising gradually again by the end of the week.

The SMG said the drop in temperature is due to a strong winter monsoon affecting the South China coastal areas, which will bring cold and dry weather to the region over the next few days.

The bureau advised citizens to stay healthy by paying attention to weather changes, avoiding prolonged exposure to the cold, and dressing warmly, especially the elderly, young children and those suffering from chronic medical conditions.
