The Chief Executive has visited land reclamation Zone A and urged for works to be sped up. During Saturday’s visit, Chui Sai On asked the project builders to complete construction as soon as possible so that public housing can be constructed there in the future.
The CE attributed great relevance to the undergoing works, saying that Zone A is of great importance as it will help ease residents’ demand for housing.
Chui Sai On was accompanied by Secretary for Transport and Public Works, Raimundo do Rosário, and other officials. The secretary said that the government plans to create an inter-departmental taskforce that will work on the road system that is going to be implemented in Zone A. During the visit, the director of the Infrastructure Development Office presented a report, according to which works and deadlines are on schedule.
