Corporate Bits | ‘Guangdong, HK and Macau power industry summit’ to be held in nanning

1-IMG_5869The annual “Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau Power Industry Summit” involving China Southern Power Grid Company Limited (CSG), CLP Holdings
Limited, China General Nuclear Power Group and Companhia de Electricidade de Macau (CEM) will be held in Nanning, Guangxi from May 11 to 13, with the theme of “Strengthening Cooperation to Achieve Mutual Benefits and Win-Win Situations”.
Hosted this year by CSG, the summit will invite experts and guests to probe into the current trending topics, including “the 13th Five Year Plan” and “the Belt & Road Initiative”.

Herbalife Ltd President Desmond Walsh Interviewherbalife seminar tomorrow

Herbalife is set to hold the “Herbalife Asian Region Tour Seminar” with David Heber, Chairman of Herbalife Nutrition Institute and Nutrition Advisory Board, at the Landmark Hotel Lagoon Ballroom tomorrow.
A press release issued by Herbalife stated that according to past research conducted in Macau, the region constitutes an aging society, thus medical problems will ensue, mainly relating to poor diet and daily routines. Therefore, maintaining a healthy weight has become a high priority to many people, especially the older generation.
The speaker has repeatedly been included on lists such as “The Best Doctors in America” and “Who’s Who in America.”  According to the press release, he is also a leading figure in obesity research, primarily focused on how to effectively prevent obesity, and understanding the relationship between obesity and aging.

North & Bambu Menu A1 Poster 2016‘the voice of legends’ to arrive to macau

“The Voice of Legends” live show is set to perform in the city on May 14 at The Venetian, Cotai Arena. Liza Wang, Lo Ka Leung, Teresa Carpio, Elisa Chan, Danny Summer and Kenny Bee will bring the glamour of decades past to Macau when they perform together on the same stage for a night.
The stars will sing a selection of their all-time greatest hits at the arena. According to a statement, Liza Wang, Elisa Chan, Teresa Carpio, Gallen Lo will bring their “powerful signature voices” to the audience. Hong Kong singer and songwriter Kenny Bee will bring the vocals that made legendary band The Wynners famous to the show, while rock singer Danny Summer will share a night filled with classic tunes.
In addition, a special guest star will appear on stage to perform with “The Voice of Legends.”
