bnu donates mop750,000 to um
BNU donated MOP750,000 to the University of Macau (UM). The presentation ceremony was officiated by Professor Wei Zhao, UM rector, and Pedro Cardoso, CEO of BNU.
UM is the leading university in Macau’s higher education sector, with around 1,500 staff members, 9,500 students and over 25,000 alumni, according to a press release.
In order to provide better services to students, staff members and alumni and to support the University’s development, BNU and UM jointly issued the UM’s Affinity Card in 2013. BNU donates a percentage of retail sales turnover of the card to the institution.
According to a press release issued yesterday by BNU, the introduction of the affinity card serves as a good example of collaboration between the financial sector and a non-profit organization.
