Sands China Ltd. (SCL) honored more than 1,600 employees for achieving their 15-year milestones with the company in a ceremonies held at Sands Macao and The Venetian Macao earlier this month.
The company’s president Dr. Wilfred Wong presented each employee with an “Honourable Service Award” – a 15th anniversary souvenir box containing an anniversary certificate, special edition pin, and a commemorative tie or scarf. The company also treated the employees to a special dinner for two to be enjoyed at a later date.
Wong said, “their loyal dedication and determination have helped Sands China get to where it is today, and they have our gratitude and appreciation for doing their part to contribute to Macau’s rise as a world center of tourism and leisure. It has been a pleasure for the company to watch them grow and develop as professionals in the industry, increasing their skills and knowledge along the way.”
One-third of the Sands Macao opening team has stayed with the company untill today, while 84% of the 8,300 decade-veterans are locals.
