Sheraton Grand Macao is presenting three signature mooncake flavors for guests to savor this Mid-Autumn. The flavors available are Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes, Low Sugar Deluxe Lotus with Egg Yolks Mooncakes and Chinese Ham Mooncake with Assorted Nuts and Yolk.

Sheraton Grand Macao has also designed three mooncake gift sets to pair with different flavors. The Mini Egg Custard Mooncakes are packaged in a yellow box featuring the ancient legend “moon rabbit”, while the Low Sugar Deluxe Lotus with Egg Yolks Mooncakes will be presented in a pink carp box. The Chinese Ham Mooncake with Assorted Nuts and Yolk will be packed in an elegant purple box, along with an exclusive blend of Tea WG tea. The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central, is introducing a limited edition collection of eight exquisitely handcrafted mooncakes, all made of luxuriously rich Valrhona chocolate.

Available from now through September 26, guests can purchase Sheraton Grand Macao’s mooncakes from the Palms Café and Bar or Xin restaurant. Mooncakes are available for purchase from MOP328 per box, and mooncake gift sets with Tea WG tea are available from MOP738.

Melco pays tribute to employee volunteers

Lawrence Ho, chairman and chief executive officer of Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited, hosted an event this week to share his appreciation towards employee volunteers for their time and efforts benefiting Macau’s wider community. According to a statement by the company, “last year, Melco employees dedicated over 136,000 hours to volunteerism to benefit 40 local NGOs, with more than 9,700 employee headcounts recorded at volunteering events.”

“We have been at the forefront of developing one-of-a- kind volunteer events, and the purpose of the recognition event is to communicate our gratitude to Melco’s volunteering team; to thank them for their proactive participation during personal time, and to recognize their tireless efforts in positively impacting the community,” said Ho during the event.

The event was attended by government and association representatives, members of Melco’s executive team and over 1,100 Melco volunteers. Awards for most enthusiastic and inspirational volunteers, as well as the department with the highest number of participants were among those presented.
