DSAT commits to promoting public bus and LRT services

The Transport Bureau (DSAT) has initiated discussions with two public bus companies to explore transfer discount programs between buses and the Macau Light Rapid Transit (LRT) system. Based on the mid-term evaluation report of the LRT contract implementation, the bureau has requested the company to submit optimization measures to ensure the safe operation of the LRT system and enhance service quality. The authority stresses that before implementing transfer discount programs between buses and LRT, it will take a comprehensive approach, considering technical coordination, passenger demand, and system operational efficiency.
