After half a year as coordinator of Forum Macau’s Support Office, Echo Chan is leaving the post, to be replaced by Cristina Morais, who currently heads the external department at the Macau Economic Services (DSE).
According to TDM, Echo Chan said that she asked to be replaced due to personal motives and she will leave Macau for a while. However, she will still be linked to the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), where she was a member of the administrative council before taking office at Forum Macau.
It’s the second time this year that the coordinator of the Forum for Economic and Trade Cooperation between China and the Portuguese-
speaking Countries (the forum’s official name) has changed. In March 4 this year, Echo Can replaced Rita Santos as coordinator.
Forum Macau was established to further multilateral relations.
