Macau’s financial sector recorded 8,546 full-time employees in the third quarter of 2025, roughly unchanged from a year earlier, according to Statistics and Census Service (DSEC). Average earnings rose 2% to MOP32,460, with insurance staff seeing the biggest increase. Job vacancies climbed to 315, driven by higher demand in the banking sector, where vacancy and recruitment rates both increased. New hires also grew, according to statistics.
