Kam Pek Paradise Casino to close, 584 jobs affected

Kam Pek Paradise, a satellite casino of SJM Resorts, will close on December 1. According to the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), the closure will affect 584 employees, adding that it will closely supervise the shutdown procedures and maintain coordination with the Labour Affairs Bureau. This is to ensure SJM fulfills commitments regarding the reassignment of affected staff, safeguarding their salaries, benefits, and working conditions at other casinos operated by the company.
