Foreign worker charged for failing to report found MOP2,000

A Filipino female foreign worker in her 40s has been arrested for allegedly keeping MOP2,000 in cash she found on the ground in Coloane. Police said the money was originally lost by a local man after it fell from his pocket. The suspect, surnamed Agohayon, was arrested last Thursday. She reportedly admitted the offence, saying she acted out of momentary greed and had already spent the money. She has been charged with “failure to report found property” and the case has been referred to the Public Prosecutions Office for further investigation.
