Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) have recognized nearly 40 local suppliers under a quality enhancement certification program aimed at strengthening small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The awards, presented at the Galaxy International Convention Center, form part of the “GEG SME Series: Quality Enhancement Certification Program,” launched in 2024.
The initiative supports local suppliers in completing management training and obtaining certifications such as the “M-Mark” Macau Product Quality Certification, ISO 9001, and HACCP food safety standards.
GEG said the program has helped nearly 80 SMEs gain professional qualifications over the past two years, enhancing operational capabilities and competitiveness. Participating businesses span sectors including food and beverage, engineering, and trade.
Beyond financial support, the program also provides tailored advisory services to help enterprises improve management systems and meet certification requirements.
GEG added it will continue expanding partnerships and support measures to help local SMEs pursue growth through innovation and quality upgrades.
