As a sponsor of the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, GEG is hosting the “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” every weekend in November at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards. The event integrates signature elements of the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, featuring a variety of educational and entertaining interactive zones and themed game booths, enabling residents, tourists, and families to immerse in the excitement and vibrant atmosphere of these major sporting events.

The table tennis event of the 15th National Games is taking place from November 7 to 20 at the Galaxy Arena of GEG. The “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” featured a table tennis experience zone, allowing participants to experience the atmosphere of the competition.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) has long been committed to supporting, organizing, and participating in major sports events, contributing to Macau’s development as a “City of Sports” and advancing the “tourism + sports” strategy through diverse initiatives. This November, the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China (“the 15th National Games”) and the 72nd Macau Grand Prix (“the Grand Prix”) are taking place. As a sponsor of the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, GEG is hosting the “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” every weekend until November 30 at its revitalization project, the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, inviting both residents and tourists alike to immerse themselves in the excitement and vibrant atmosphere of Macau’s signature sports events. Featuring themed elements inspired by the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, the activity offers a variety of educational and entertaining family-friendly interactive zones and game booths.

The game booths are themed around competition events from the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, allowing both residents and tourists alike to immerse themselves in the excitement and vibrant atmosphere of Macau’s signature sports events.

The game booths are themed around competition events from the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games and the Grand Prix, including table tennis matches, badminton serving challenges, basketball shooting contests, and remote-control race cars on a mini track. These interactive experiences allow participants to gain a deeper appreciation of the sports while enjoying parent-child fun. The event also features large-scale photo installations and check-in spots inspired by Wavey the Peacock of Galaxy Kidz, blending playful and sporting elements to create memorable photo opportunities for families. Live music performances are also available on site, further enriching the lively atmosphere. In addition, GEG has arranged complimentary shuttle bus services between the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau™ and the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards for visitors’ convenience.

Participants controlled formula remote‑control cars on a mini track, experiencing the fun of racing.

The table tennis event of the 15th National Games is taking place from November 7 to 20 at the Galaxy Arena of GEG. To energize the atmosphere, GEG has been actively supporting and organizing a series of promotional initiatives. These included a large-scale art installation composed of 7,000 colored table tennis balls, which set a world record and is now showcased at “The Artistry of Table Tennis – Collectables & Art Exhibition”. Moreover, GEG has established the Official Franchised Product Store for the Macau Competition Zone of the 15th National Games at Galaxy Macau and is supporting the “National Games Community Activities” campaign to encourage community participation. Furthermore, the “GEG Macau Special Olympics Inclusive Table Tennis Fun Day 2025,” title-sponsored by GEG and co-organized with Macau Special Olympics, highlighted the spirit of inclusivity in sports and marked the 50-day countdown to the Paralympic Games following the 15th National Games.

The event features large-scale photo installations and check-in spots inspired by Wavey the Peacock of Galaxy Kidz, blending playful and sporting elements to create memorable photo opportunities for families.

GEG has consistently aligned with the Macau SAR Government’s sports development policies and remains committed to advancing the integrated development of sports and tourism. This year marks the fifth consecutive year of GEG’s sponsorship of the Grand Prix. Earlier, GEG served as one of the organizers of the “ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” for the second consecutive year; and supported the “WTT Champions Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” for the sixth consecutive year, serving as an organizer since 2023. In December, Macau will welcome the “Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon”, which GEG has supported for 22 consecutive years and co-organized for three consecutive years. Building on the success of last year’s highly popular “UFC Fight Night Macau presented by Galaxy Macau” at Galaxy Arena, Galaxy Macau announced a four-year strategic partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (“UFC”), under which three UFC Fight Night events will be staged at Galaxy Arena between 2026 and 2029. Looking ahead, GEG will continue to deliver a rich and diverse range of sports and cultural experiences for residents and tourists, further enhancing Macau’s positioning as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”.
