Since its opening in 2023, Galaxy Arena has earned acclaim for hosting world-class events, from the 15th National Games table tennis competition to the ITTF World Cups.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) actively contributes to Macau’s development as a “City of Sports”. Over the years, GEG has hosted and supported a wide range of international events, from table tennis and marathon to women’s volleyball, combat sports, and the Macau Grand Prix.

Beyond headline events, GEG encourages community participation and helps cultivate local talents through diverse initiatives that engage youth and residents alike.

With world-class facilities such as the 16,000-seat Galaxy Arena, GEG continues to bring together sports, leisure, and tourism, adding vitality to Macau’s sporting landscape.

Driving the Growth of Table Tennis in Macau

GEG has long been a driving force behind the rising profile of table tennis in Macau. This year, Galaxy Arena staged a series of table tennis spectacles, including the “15th National Games” and the “ITTF Men’s and Women’s World Cup Macao 2025 presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group” for the second consecutive year. In addition, GEG has also supported and co-organized the “WTT Champions Macao presented by Galaxy Entertainment Group”.

Organizing Extended Activities to Foster Community Links

During the ITTF and WTT Champions Macao, GEG and the organizers launched various extended activities such as student exchanges, player meet‑and‑greets, and inviting schools and social organizations to attend, enabling youth and the community to engage with top athletes while promoting table tennis culture in Macau.

Supporting Macau’s Hosting of the 15th National Games

As one of the sponsors of the Macau Competition Zone of the “15th National Games”, the “12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities”, and the “9th National Special Olympic Games”, GEG fully supported these national sporting events in diverse ways. In addition, GEG actively participated in and launched a variety of promotional activities to amplify the community’s sporting atmosphere and encourage public participation.

Highlights included joining the torch relay of the “15th National Games”, establishing an Official Merchandising Retail Store for the Macau Competition Zone at Galaxy Macau, organizing “The Artistry of Table Tennis – Collectables & Art Exhibition” which featured a world record-breaking installation made from 7,000 table tennis balls, and hosting the “Sport Games Family Experience – Games On!” at the Lai Chi Vun Shipyards.

Presenting the national Gold Medalists Visit to Macau – Chinese Diving Team Gala

Since 2013, GEG has continuously supported the “National Gold Medalists Visit to Macau Series”. This year, GEG once again served as the title sponsor of the series and presented the “Chinese Diving Team Gala and Vitality Walk 2025”, which was successfully held from December 12 to 14. The program included a gala performance, school exchanges, a Macao Grand Prix Museum visit, and participation in the “42nd Walk for a Million”, further promoting sports culture and strengthening community connections.

Co-organizing the Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon

This year, GEG supported the “Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon” for the 22nd consecutive year, and served as one of its organizers for the third consecutive year, drawing 12,000 participants and energizing the city with community spirit and international interest.

Forging a Four-Year Strategic Partnership with UFC

GEG and UFC have announced a four-year strategic partnership to stage three world-class Fight Night events at Galaxy Arena from 2026 to 2029.

Sponsoring the Macau Grand Prix

GEG marked its fifth year of sponsoring the “Macau Grand Prix”, strengthening the synergy of sports and tourism.

Advancing Youth Development in Sports

GEG continued to invest in diverse youth programs in sports, including title sponsoring the “We Are Macau Athletes” program for the second consecutive time, and co-organizing and title sponsoring the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: PGA Tour Dreams”. These events aim to nurture local sports talent and promote the sustainable development of Macau’s sports industry.
