Galaxy launches Chinese New Year community and staff programs

Macau’s Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) marked the Year of the Horse with a series of Chinese New Year activities engaging both the community and its staff. As part of its 10th consecutive “GEG Community Caring Program,” students from the “Technology Care Innovation Design Competition” delivered festive gifts to elderly residents, while members of the “15th GEG Youth Achievement Program” participated in a copper art exhibition and Chinese New Year-themed workshop, highlighting intangible cultural heritage.

GEG also hosted responsible gaming activities and festive events for staff, including games, workshops, and themed meals, attracting nearly 4,000 participants. These initiatives aimed to promote community engagement, intergenerational interaction, and awareness of responsible gaming practices.

Beyond internal and community programs, GEG supported Macau government-organized celebrations, including a themed parade float and a Spring Festival bazaar at Lai Chi Vun Shipyards, featuring cultural displays and seasonal attractions for both residents and tourists.
