IFT and MCA hold cooking competition

The Institute for Tourism Studies (IFT) and the Macau Culinary Association (MCA) co-organized the 9th Macanese Cooking Competition and the 6th Young Macanese Cooking Competition for universities students last week, exploring the culture and history of local traditional Macanese cuisine. The Young Macanese Cooking Competition is an additional contest allowing culinary exchange between university students in the SAR, according to a statement released by the IFT. The panel of judges contained several experts from the culinary sector. Handika Setiawan of MGM Cotai was awarded first prize in the professional group while Zhitian Tang of Sands Cotai Central and Jeff Mak from Wynn Palace Cotai were awarded first and second runner up respectively.
