Macao Foundation’s two heads extended

The government announced yesterday in the Official Gazette that Wu Zhiliang and Zhong Yi have had their appointments to the Macao Foundation (FM) extended. The extension will take effect on July 11. Wu had his full-time presidency and Zhong her vice-presidency of the Executive Committee of the FM extended for a year. Wu will be remunerated with about MOP101,000 per month and Zhong about MOP88,000 per month during the appointment. The FM is a public legal entity that enjoys a certain level of autonomy and regularly sponsors events in areas such as culture, community, economy, education and science.
