Macao Water projects slight decline in water consumption 

Macao Water Supply Company Ltd (Macao Water) anticipates a slight decline in annual water consumption this year. According to Nacky Kuan, Executive Director of Macao Water, the company has noticed a decrease of approximately 2% to 3% in water consumption during October and November. She attributed this trend to several factors, including the suspension of operations by several small businesses in the Peninsula, which has impacted overall consumption. Additionally, despite the influx of visitors, the average length of stay has decreased, further reducing water demand, she stated.
