Macau Red Cross donates to rural China

The Macau Red Cross made significant contributions to various projects in rural areas of mainland China, totaling 10.84 million yuan, Chinese media has reported. The donations supported the development of kindergartens, health stations, bridges, a primary school, an ambulance station, and a senior care center. Additionally, the organization provided emergency supplies to flood-affected areas in Hebei and earthquake-hit regions in Turkey. In Macau, the Red Cross’ non-emergency ambulance service catered to over 32,000 attendances in 2023, and they installed Automated External Defibrillators at key locations across the city.
