Man arrested for casino chip theft
The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a 56-year-old mainland man suspected of stealing a HKD50,000 casino chip from another gambler in Cotai. The incident occurred last Friday when the victim, betting with five chips of the same value, noticed one missing. Police launched an investigation and intercepted the suspect Monday at the airport as he attempted to leave Macau. The man admitted to taking the chip during play but said it had already been lost gambling.
