Melco colleagues win four titles at GBA vocational skills competition

Four Melco Resorts & Entertainment employees representing Macau won Champion titles at the sixth Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Vocational Skills Competition, earlier this month at Studio City.
The employees competed in the Western Service and Pastry: Chocolate Cake categories, with two Melco representatives winning in each category.
Vincent Chan, assistant manager at Alain Ducasse at Morpheus, City of Dreams, and Anne To, assistant manager at Cinema F&B, Studio City, won the Western Service category.
Ann Wong, Demi-Chef de Partie/Cook 2 at Studio City, and Winnie Im, Chef de Partie/Cook 1 at Altira Macau, won the Pastry: Chocolate Cake category.
Melco said Wong and Im are graduates of its 12-month Foundation Acceleration Program, a training program focused on technical and professional skills for local employees.
The competition brought together participants from 11 GBA cities and was jointly organized by trade unions in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, along with Macau’s Labour Affairs Bureau.
