Melco hosts colleague screening of ‘Crossing’

Melco Resorts & Entertainment hosted an exclusive screening of the film “Crossing” on Aug. 6, with nearly 70 colleagues attending as part of its “Splendors of China” national education program.
The screening commemorated the 105th anniversary of the Communist Party of China and the 90th anniversary of the Red Army’s Long March. The film portrays the “Four Crossings of the Chishui River” campaign and highlights the strategic wisdom and determination of the Red Army during the Long March.
Bonnie Tam, vice president of Resorts Sales and Marketing at Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said the film “vividly captures the indomitable will and national spirit” demonstrated during a challenging period in the country’s history.
She said national education events help colleagues better understand the nation’s history and development, adding that she was proud to work for a company that values and invests in history and cultural education.
Launched in 2016, “Splendors of China” offers courses, events and exhibitions on Chinese history, art and society for Melco colleagues and the Macau community.
