Melco Resorts & Entertainment has donated HKD3 million to support the construction and relocation of the Hangkou Town Healthcare Center in Xiushui County, Jiangxi Province, in line with the national rural revitalization policy.
The project is expected to benefit around 100,000 residents in Hangkou and surrounding towns, with an estimated 40,000 outpatient visits and 2,500 inpatient cases annually.
The upgraded center will provide modern medical and public health services to meet the needs of local residents and enhance overall community health and wellness.
Lawrence Ho, chairman and CEO of Melco Resorts & Entertainment, said, “We recognize that high-quality healthcare is a cornerstone of sustainable social development. By contributing toward this modernized facility, we aim to provide the local community and residents of the surrounding industrial zones with quality medical resources.”
