Melco restaurants receive five Trip.Gourmet awards


Five restaurants operated by Melco Resorts & Entertainment received honors at the 10th anniversary Trip.Gourmet Restaurant Rankings and Fine Dining Awards, held Sept. 8 in Singapore.
Jade Dragon at City of Dreams received the top Black Diamond distinction. The restaurant holds three MICHELIN stars and three Black Pearl diamonds, making it the only Chinese restaurant worldwide to hold both distinctions at the highest level, according to Melco.
Alain Ducasse at Morpheus received a Diamond award. The French restaurant holds two MICHELIN stars and one Black Pearl diamond.
Three other Melco restaurants received Platinum awards. Yí at City of Dreams was recognized for its Chinese cuisine and seasonal offerings and holds one Black Pearl diamond.
Sushi Kinetsu at City of Dreams was recognized for its Edomae sushi and holds one MICHELIN star and one Black Pearl diamond. Pearl Dragon at Studio City, a MICHELIN-starred Cantonese restaurant with Chaozhou influences, also received Platinum status.
Melco chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho attributed the five awards to the company’s culinary and food and beverage teams, according to a company statement.
