The highlight arrives on Oct 4–5, when nearly 260 athletes from 22 troupes across 14 countries and regions compete at Barra Square at the 12th International Lion Dance Championship 2025 – MGM Cup. For the first time, the event brings in not just Chinese traditions, but also those from Japan and Korea, enabling visitors to appreciate the craftsmanship and heritage of lion dance across Asia.
