Music camp for children’s arts festival kicks off

The 1st Macao International Children’s Arts Festival – Music Camp was inaugurated Aug. 16 at the Macao Cultural Centre. About 30 students will receive one-on-one music lessons and master classes from the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, culminating in a performance alongside renowned violinist Joshua Bell. The Music Camp runs Aug. 16 to 21 and includes cultural tours of Macau. An Achievements Concert on Aug. 21 will feature students performing Tchaikovsky and Bach with Bell, along with an open rehearsal that morning.
