New Neighborhood launches ‘triple rewards’ homebuying promotion

After raising the per-person purchase cap to two units in February, the “Macau New Neighborhood” project in Hengqin has launched a “triple rewards” promotion offering Macau residents parking, renovation, and management-fee benefits.

Notably, the project has sold more than 1,388 residential units to date, with more than 2,500 residents having moved in. It offers about 4,000 sellable, fully furnished units, of which 80% are two-bedroom flats with a gross floor area of about 88 square meters, priced from about RMB2.41 million to RMB2.63 million, while the remaining 20% are three-bedroom units of about 118 square meters, priced from about RMB3.53 million to RMB3.71 million.

As of the end of 2024, cumulative sales totaled 1,388 units, with a resident population of more than 2,500.

The latest promotion follows earlier relaxations: in November 2024, the project scrapped the age threshold and the five-year resale restriction and adjusted how purchase counts are calculated so they are no longer tied to marital status, and in February of this year, the per-person purchase cap was raised from one unit to two.

According to a statement from Macau Urban Renewal Limited (MUR) yesterday, local residents purchasing a residential unit at “Macau New Neighborhood” are entitled to parking, renovation, and management fee benefits.

Buyers who successfully purchase a unit during the first three days of the promotion, from this Friday to October 11, are eligible to enter a lucky draw for car vouchers.

The statement further said the project offers two-bedroom units with a gross floor area of about 88 square meters and three-bedroom units of about 118 square meters, fully renovated and equipped with high-quality home appliances for easy move-in.

MUR also noted that the project features mature community services and commercial facilities, including a school aligned with Macau standards, a health station, an elderly service center, a family and community service center, a 24-hour government self-service center, and a fully open retail area.

The communitarian clubhouse offers a swimming pool, a gym, various sports courts, gardens, and children’s playground areas.
