Northeast monsoon brings showers, thunderstorms to Macau
The northeast monsoon will bring occasional showers and thunderstorms to Macau, with weather expected to improve from midweek as a broad low-pressure trough over the central South China Sea gradually weakens. The Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau said sunny and hotter conditions are expected during the day from Wednesday. The latest forecast shows showers for three consecutive days from Sept. 13-15, followed by clearer weather on Wednesday, with a high of 32 degrees Celcius. Meanwhile, a tropical depression south of Hainan Island is expected to move gradually toward central and northern Vietnam.
