Nurseries can apply for IAS video surveillance program

Registration for the Social Welfare Bureau’s “Daycare Video Surveillance Program” is now open. The program allows daycare centers to install IAS-approved video surveillance systems in non-sensitive areas, such as children’s sleeping and activity areas, to monitor safety and investigate incidents objectively. Interested institutions must apply through their managing entity to the IAS to qualify for the program, and will be reviewed within 25 business days. IAS reminds that participating nurseries must notify guardians before activating the system. More information is available on the IAS website.
