Labor disputes drop 18% in first 11 months of 2025

The Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) reported 1,223 labor dispute cases from January to November 2025, down 18% year-on-year, involving 1,936 employees, a 32% decrease. Local workers accounted for 832 cases, nearly 43%. Key disputes included wage payments, overtime compensation, and dismissal claims. DSAL stressed the effectiveness of combining legal education with preventive inspections, conducting 148 site visits at 114 major construction projects and over 50 labor rights seminars, reaching 3,351 participants.
