Operation Thunder crackdown continues

The Public Security Police Force (PSP) is continuing its “Thunder 2024” anti-crime patrol operation, which seeks to improve the public security environment and prevent illegal activities throughout the city. Earlier this week, PSP dispatched 25 criminal investigators to inspect hotels in the Central District. They intercepted and investigated 119 people (78 men and 41 women) but no suspicious persons were brought in for further questioning. PSP affirmed that it would adjust its strategies to suit the present security situation, increasing patrols in key areas at relevant times.
