PJ warns again of SMS scams

As numerous people continue to fall victim to consumer bonus point expiry notification scams, the Judiciary Police (PJ) has once again reminded the public to check the authenticity of SMS messages and avoid clicking on unknown links. This kind of scam aims to trick victims by sending them malicious links that purport to grant bonus points on consumer platforms. Personal information, as well as credit card details, are collected and after a few days the victim’s credit card details are used for multiple big transactions.
