PSG Academy Macau Youth GBA Tournament wraps up third edition

The third edition of the Paris Saint-Germain F.C. (PSG) Academy Macau Youth Greater Bay Area (GBA) Tournament was held in Macau over the weekend.

Over the twoday tournament, 20 youth football teams from across the GBA competed at the Macau Workers’ Stadium, showcasing their skills and teamwork.
The event, organized by
PSG Academy GBA and sponsored by CTF Life, aimed to promote youth development through football, providing young players with a platform to grow through sport and build confidence.
The tournament featured four age groups
U9, U11, U13, and U15. Following multiple rounds of competition, the champions in each category were U9 – IVO, U11 – SASL, U13 – Tekkerz, and U15 – STM.

In addition to the group champions, each category also presented team and individual awards to recognize outstanding performance throughout the tournament.
The GZ Flying Alligator (U9) won the Fair Play Team award, while in the U11 category, the same award went to PSG Academy Hong Kong (Red). Hang Sai (U13) and Shao Jiang Academy (U15) were also recipients of the same award.

For individual awards, Matthew (IVO) took home the Best Player award for the U9 category, as did Flynn (PSG Academy Hong Kong – White) in the U11. Braden Yorke (Tekkerz) and Michael (SASL) were awarded Best Player of the tournament in the U13 and U15 categories, respectively.
At the same time, Ronnie (Shao Jiang Academy), London (SASL), Ryan (SASL), and Jay (STM) took home the Best Goalkeeper award for their respective categories.
About this year’s tournament, Yannick Ngassa, Chief Executive Officer of PSG Academy GBA, said that the successful completion provided valuable match experience and development opportunities for young players and injected new momentum into youth football development across the GBA.
