April’s Hottest Dining Spot: Chef Dave Pynt Returns for Grill 58 Takeover

One of April’s most anticipated culinary moments in Macau is set to unfold at Grill 58, MGM COTAI, as acclaimed Australian Chef Dave Pynt returns for an exclusive three‑day takeover from April 23 to 25.

Best known as the chef-owner and founder of Singapore’s MICHELIN-starred  restaurant Burnt Ends, Chef Dave Pynt has built an international reputation for his distinctive take on modern Australian barbecue.

His approach — centered on wood-fire cooking, technical precision, and bold, ingredient-led flavors — his philosophy aligns seamlessly with Grill 58’s culinary ethos, defined by craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Burnt Ends has held one MICHELIN Star since 2018 and continues to enjoy strong global recognition. The restaurant has been featured on both The World’s 50 Best Restaurants and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants lists, while also securing the highest ranked in Asia at No. 9 on The World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants 2026.

These accolades reflect not only the restaurant’s consistency, but also Chef Dave Pynt’s influence in contemporary wood‑fire cooking.

For this return engagement, diners can expect a thoughtfully curated tasting menu built around premium ingredients such as caviar, bone marrow, Blackmore’s striploin, king crab, and sea urchin. The menu is designed to showcase the interplay between land and sea, elevated through Chef Dave Pynt’s signature wood-fire technique.

Guests may choose between an 8-course lunch or an 11-course dinner, a rare opportunity for Macau diners to experience one of Singapore’s most celebrated kitchens—without leaving the city. For reservations, call (853) 8806 2318 or visit www.mgm.mo.
