Sands China has launched a series of free public activities under its “Community Revitalization Programme 2.0 for Rua das Estalagens,” aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and revitalizing the historic district.
The initiative includes a briefing session on May 8, SME training courses on May 14, and open days scheduled for May and June. The activities are designed to provide practical guidance for aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners interested in operating in the area.
The program introduces two key components this year: the Entrepreneurship Recruitment Programme 2.0 and a new Shop Rebranding Programme. The first supports new businesses setting up in Rua das Estalagens, while the second assists existing shops in upgrading branding and operations.
Selected applicants may receive subsidies tied to their self-invested capital. Applications for the program are open until June 30.
The initiative is organized by Sands China in collaboration with multiple government departments and business associations.
