Sands Shopping Carnival draws nearly 160,000 visits

The seventh Sands Shopping Carnival drew nearly 160,000 visits from July 23 to 26 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, marking the highest annual attendance in the event’s history.
The four-day event featured more than 580 booths across eight themed zones, making it the largest edition since its launch in 2020. New attractions included an expanded food court featuring 58 local eateries, a Sports Experience Zone with pickleball and basketball activities, and a Cultural and Creative Zone showcasing brands from across the Greater Bay Area.
Organized by Sands China, the carnival has provided 4,000 complimentary booths to local SMEs over seven years, helping businesses broaden their customer bases and raise brand awareness.
The event has attracted 800,000 visits cumulatively and is positioned as a platform supporting local consumption, SMEs and Macao’s economic diversification efforts.
