Sands China Ltd supported the 19th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Macau Urological Association (MUA), held at The Parisian Macao last week.
This event brought together over 250 experts from cities including Beijing, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, highlighting Macau’s role as a hub for medical conferences and the Big Health industry.
Founded in 2006, the MUA is Macau’s first professional organization for urologists. Its annual meeting has become a significant event for professionals in the Greater Bay Area.
Dr. Ian Lap Hong, chairman of the MUA, expressed gratitude for the support from local and international experts. Kris Kaminsky, senior vice president of Hotel Operations at Sands China Ltd., emphasised the significance of this event, stating, “Our commitment to the MICE sector is deeply intertwined with supporting initiatives that drive long-term growth for Macau’s economy and its healthcare ecosystem.”
