Shunde signs AI chip-module platform project

An AI-assisted platform for manufacturing semiconductor chip modules has signed agreements to establish operations in Foshan’s Shunde district, targeting applications in home appliances, robotics and other industries.

Guangdong Zhongying Innovation Digital Technology signed agreements with platform organizations, chip manufacturers and initial customers at an October 11 event, according to Foshan’s science and technology bureau. Intended orders exceeded 10 million yuan.

The bureau said the platform combines AI models, smart manufacturing, chip sales and an open development workshop. It is designed to connect chip producers, equipment manufacturers and engineers, supporting the development and deployment of chip applications.

The initiative aims to improve the delivery of chip-module solutions and support the use of domestically produced components. Its commercial ambitions include building a larger regional network of suppliers and customers.

The announced order figure represents purchasing intentions, rather than completed sales. The statement did not establish that the project had reached full-scale production.
